Doppler Rental Terms & Conditions
The minimum rental period is one month
Please note: on checkout, you will see that it states one initial payment followed by 6 further payments - these are scheduled to give you the flexibility to rent for as long as you wish. You are under no obligation to keep the Doppler and can return it at any time and the future payments are cancelled.
Included in your rental:
Payment Agreement
When checking out you will be entering into a WorldPay FuturePay agreement. An initial charge of one month's rental plus a one off postage charge of £5.00 will be made to your card on the day the order is placed. The monthly rental payment will then be charged on the same day of each of the following months until the 7 month rental term is finished, or the unit is returned to us in good condition. After the 7 month period you have 7 days to return the doppler and packaging to us.
Delivery
Your Doppler will be sent out via Royal Mail Special Delivery. This is a next working day delivery service. Orders received before 3pm on a weekday will be dispatched that day. Orders placed after 3pm on a weekday, over a weekend or on a bank holiday will be dispatched the next working day. If you wish to have your doppler sent to a different delivery address, please email us after placing your order.
Cancellation of the Rental Agreement
Following delivery of the Fetal Doppler, you have 7 working days to cancel the agreement. If you wish to do so, please inform us in writing. On receiving the returned goods (unused and in original condition) we will provide a refund, minus a £10 administration fee.
Should you wish to return the Fetal Doppler at any time after the initial week's cancellation period, we must receive notification at least one week prior to the date when the next monthly payment is due and the Doppler must be returned to us before the next payment date.
Missed Payments
If for any reason, we do not receive payment for any given month's rental, and you have not cancelled and returned the monitor to us in its original condition, we shall inform you either by email, telephone and letter.
If payment remains outstanding for more than two months the rental agreement will terminate, and we will authorise our collections company to commence proceedings against you to recover monies owed and the monitor. You will be liable for all costs incurred in this process and a mandatory £10 administration fee.
Condition of the Goods
Hi-baby.co.uk makes every effort to ensure that your Doppler will reach you in excellent condition. We shall replace any units that do not reach you in such condition. If the unit is returned to us damaged by accident or misuse, you will be liable for the repair or replacement costs. If the item is lost or stolen, you will be charged the full retail price for the unit.
Returns
To return the Fetal Doppler at any time, please keep the original packaging that it was received it, use the enclosed return labels and post the unit via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery to:
